Decemeber 5th, 2014 was the last day of work for our awesome, amazing Al Gregory who retires after 40 years with the City operating the wastewater treatment plant. During his tenure, the City has treated approximately 22 billion gallons of wastewater (the size of Wynoochee Lake).
We have been extremely fortunate to have his talents and passion for wastewater for the past 4 decades. Despite tough economic conditions at the City over the years, Al and his team have has continued to operate a facility that meets stringent environmental regulations and has won awards for exemplary performance.
Al Gregory came to work every day with a smile on his face, a positive attitude and a commitment to public service. We will truly miss him after his retirement today, but we wish him well for his job well done!
