25th Annual National Night Out

Description: It's America's Night Out Against Crime!

The "25th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2008. We cordially invite you and your community to be a part of our NIGHT OUT 2008 team.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

On Track Art Festival

Description: We are excited about the 2008 On Track Art Festival that is positioned on the Hoquiam Riverfront a rock skip away from Highway 101 to the Olympic Peninsula and Highway 109 to Ocean Shores, Moclips, Pacific Beach, and Seabrook.

This art festival is juried and will highlight local and regional artists. Food vendors will be there to sell their culinary art and a live music will be played during the event. This is an outside faire in downtown Hoquiam. The art will include drawings, ceramics, pottery, fiber art, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, wood, photography, painting and much more.
