1.62.010 Inventory of city real property – How kept.

It shall be the duty of the city finance director to prepare and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all real estate owned by the city of Hoquiam, either in fee simple or in trust, which said inventory shall contain an accurate description of the same by lot or tract; the nature of the title under which the same is held, and when owned in fee simple, the particular use thereof; the date and manner in which the city obtained title, and the amount of any and all liens existing against the same. (Ord. 1546 § 1, 1939).

1.62.020 Applications for purchase or lease – How made.1

All applications for the purchase, lease or rental of any of such properties shall be submitted in writing to the city finance director of the city, who shall forthwith refer the same to the public property committee of the city council for investigation and recommendation to the city council. (Ord. 1546 § 2, 1939).

1.62.030 Approval of council required.

No such property shall be sold, leased or rented except upon approval of the city council by resolution, which said resolution shall provide for the purchase or rental price, and all terms of such sale or rental. (Ord. 1546 § 3, 1939).

1.62.040 City finance director to collect moneys.

It shall be the duty of the city finance director to collect all rentals accruing and all payments due from purchasers, under the terms of this chapter, which such rentals and purchase money shall be credited to the proper fund in the treasury of the city. (Ord. 1546 § 4, 1939).

1.62.050 Delinquent payments – Report to city attorney.

The city finance director shall report to the city attorney of the city for action any and all delinquencies in payment of rentals and delinquencies on outstanding contracts for purchase of such property. (Ord. 1546 § 5, 1939).

1.62.060 Periodic inspection by finance director.

The city finance director shall from time to time check over the properties aforesaid, and when any such property shall be found to be wrongfully occupied, such fact shall be reported to the public property committee aforesaid for investigation and report to the city council. (Ord. 1546 § 6, 1939).
