A MESSAGE FROM CHIEF RAY PUMPHREY

I am honored to be the Fire Chief for the City of Hoquiam. The goal of the Hoquiam Fire Department is to provide our citizens with the highest degree of life safety and property protection. We will accomplish this through the extension of fire prevention programs, aggressive fire suppression measures and advanced life support and emergency medical services.

I would like to thank the Mayor, City Administrator, City Council and most of all the Citizens of Hoquiam for your support and cooperation. With your help we were able to maintain staffing levels and upgrade apparatus, equipment and facilities. These improvements will allow us to continue the high level of service that our citizens have come to expect. Our department looks forward to the coming years, and beyond.
