 On Saturday, August 13 eight Hoquiam Police Department Crime Watch volunteers, along with Asst Finance Director Maureen Smedely, Police Chief Jeff Myers and Mayor Durney joined together in a graffiti painting detail. The group painted over graffiti on two city buildings - one in the alley off 8th street and the water building on Endresen. Here are some photos from our painting over graffiti that took place from 10-12 on Saturday, August 13. A big thank you goes out to all who participated. The message is....Don't vandalize in the friendliest city!
