NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 22, 2022 Casey Bernard submitted a request for a variance for the property located at 723 Broadway Avenue. The request is to allow construction of a single-family residence within the 150 foot shoreline setback. The proposed site is located on parcel number 517100132007
The City of Hoquiam Land Use Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing to consider the request on July 13, 2022 at 9:30 AM. Due to restrictions on public meetings, the meeting will be conducted via ZOOM. Access to the ZOOM address will be listed on the City of Hoquiam web site at www.cityofhoquiam.com. Property owners within 300 feet are being notified in accordance with the requirements of Section 10.07.070 of the Hoquiam Municipal Code.
All interested persons are invited to submit written comments on the proposal to the City of Hoquiam Planning Department at 609 8th Street, Hoquiam, WA 98550. All written correspondence must be received by the City no later than 5:00 PM on July 12, 2022.
