Supporting your Community
Volunteers are provided with a uniform, training, and a Crime Watch patrol vehicle to:

  • conduct vacation residence checks

  • business security checks

  • school zone safety programs

  • to assist with traffic control and security at local events

Volunteer Crime Watch members also help the department with administrative tasks and special projects for the department as needed.

Criminal Background Check Required

Volunteers must be reliable and pass a background check, but only need to volunteer for whatever time they are available each month. Contact Coordinator Betsy Seidel at (360) 533-5968 if you have any questions.
